Armenian PM says depending solely on Russia for security was 'strategic mistake'
Armenia's prime minister has stated that his country's policy of relying only on Russia to ensure its security was a strategic blunder because Moscow has failed to deliver and is now winding down its presence in the region. In an interview published on Sunday in the Italian newspaper La Repubblica, Nikol Pashinyan accused Russia of failing to safeguard Armenia's security in the face of what he called Azerbaijan's aggression over the breakaway Nagorno-Karabakh territory.
