North Korea lets citizens stranded abroad to return in easing of Covid isolation
As the country advances toward a full reopening after three years of epidemic isolation, state media claimed on Sunday that North Korea has permitted citizens who were left stuck abroad by its rigorous Covid limitations to come home. Since the beginning of 2020, the nation had closed its borders to protect itself against Covid-19, which made it impossible for even its own citizens to leave.
