Once Asia's richest woman, China property tycoon loses more wealth than any billionaire 
Yang Huiyan, the once-richest woman in Asia, lost 84% of her wealth from its peak in 2021 due to the deepening debt crisis of her Chinese property development company, Country Garden Holdings Co. The decline, amounting to $28.6bn, is the biggest among the ultra-rich tracked by Bloomberg over that period. Yang’s net worth is now $5.5bn.
