Nawaz Sharif confident that election will take place in February: Former minister 
Pakistan's general election will be held in February 2023, according to Pakistan Muslim League (N) party leader Rana Sanaullah. The delimitation of constituencies must be completed before then and is expected to finish by December 2022. Former prime minister Nawaz Sharif, currently in London following a conviction in a corruption case, is expected to return to Pakistan in September or October ahead of the election.
