Pakistan: Imran Khan's party to challenge rejection of nomination papers today
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) will challenge the rejection of its candidates' nomination papers, including Imran Khan, by filing appeals with the election tribunals. The party has asked all candidates to file appeals against the decisions of the Returning Officers (ROs). Some candidates will be filing appeals with the appellate tribunals with the party's help. The Election Commission of Pakistan rejected scores of PTI nomination forms across the country, which the party has decided to challenge. PTI also launched a 'WhatsApp' account to collect evidence of pre-poll rigging.
