PM Modi to gift India’s 1st public ropeway to Kashi on Friday 
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to give the world’s third and India’s first public transport ropeway to his parliamentary constituency Varanasi. He will lay the foundation stone for the construction of the ropeway during his visit to the city on March 24. The ropeway will run from Cantt Railway Station (Varanasi junction) to Godowlia crossing. The estimated cost of the project is Rs 644. 49 crore.
