Russia downs drone near Moscow, suspends flights
In the early hours of Saturday, Russia reported a new drone attack on Moscow, which once more compelled the authorities to temporarily down all three major airports serving the capital. According to Sergei Sobyanin, the mayor of Moscow, an air defense system shot down a drone over the Moscow region's Istra district. About 50 kilometers (31 miles) west of the Kremlin sits the neighborhood.
