UK family doctors vote to limit services to patients in a dispute over funding
Family doctors in England voted to limit patient visits and reject extra work in response to a "broken" funding model. The British Medical Association announced that 98.3% of 8,500 participating general practitioners endorsed the measure, which will begin immediately. The move comes after a new contract increased funding by only 1.9% for 2024-25, risking the financial viability of many practices.
